Welcome! Take a look at Wiggonholt - this is where it all began!

In 1996 this beautiful unspoilt area was threatened with a 30-acre sandpit and local residents responded by forming the Wiggonholt Association in opposition.
After winning a long and costly battle against the proposal, its members decided to widen the Association's activity and it is now an influential champion of the West Sussex countryside, rural life and the natural environment of our planet.
Recently the Association was granted charitable status in recognition of the public benefit of its work.
